Jane Holland
Jane has extensive experience of commercial property work, both in New Zealand and in the UK, and specialises in commercial leasing and development projects.
She leads the firm's property team and advises clients in the leasing, sale and purchase of commercial properties and has also acted on many design and build projects and sale and lease back transactions. She acts for various major developers, forestry companies and retailers in New Zealand.
Jane co-authored the current edition of the New Zealand Property Council Retail Lease and authored the current edition of the New Zealand Property Council Office Lease. She has also authored a green lease schedule on behalf of a number of major companies in the property market.
She provides seminars on property issues, including on green leasing for members of CoreNet Global, the world's leading professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives. Jane is also a member of the University of Auckland Property Department Advisory Board.
Chambers Asia Pacific 2012 ranks Jane as a leading lawyer and notes that she receives praise for her "ability to provide lateral thinking around complex issues," with the previous edition noting her "clear, prompt and focused approach."
