PETROLEUM AND SUSTAINABILITY
Synopsis:
This is a story of a New Zealand company and its
sustainability journey. At Z, sustainability means
acting in a way that benefits the future of the
neighbourhood’s it operates in, the planet that
carries us all while at the same time sustaining the
long term future of the company.
Z has declared that it will make a tangible
contribution to sustainability in New Zealand by 2015
through using less, wasting less; reducing our carbon
footprint and that of our key suppliers/partners; and
reducing New Zealand’s reliance on fossil fuels.
These are high ideals in a business type that could
engender scepticism – hear how the facts
are otherwise.
